Description[]
The Amazonense have been inhabitants of Brazil longer than Brazil has existed. Descendants of the indigenous Amazonians, the Amazonense have also been influenced by their Spanish neighbors to their North, as well as the Baiano to the South-east. Baiano religion- Candomble- typically dominates Amazonense culture, and their language often mixes Portuguese with Spanish.
